Christian Monique (born 16 July 1977) is a DJ, producer and remixer. His sound is progressive house (also melodic progressive, dark progressive, deep house, tech house and trance).

Nowadays, he has two shows in two different radios. Every 3rd Friday of the month on Frisky Radios goes on air "Seventeen". Before being host on Frisky Radio, he had already participated as "Artist of the Week" reaching the 9400 listeners. Then, on Cosmos Radio every 1st Monday goes on air his show called "Madhouse". He's first show was "Labyrinth" which was broadcast on DNA Radio FM. Christian Monique has partecipated also as guest mix on Digitally Imported, Saturo Sound, Time Differences Radio, Progressive Beats, Nube Radio, Introspections Podcast and FM Blue 105.3

He has played at the Tropi Trance Bar, an Ibiza club (Sant Antoni de Portmany).

Christian Monique reached the first place as "Artist of the week" on the "Top 10 of the week" on Frisky Radio.

"Red Light" was chosen by Ruben De Ronde as introduction of his set "The Sound of Holland 287".

Fernando Ferreyra often supports Christian Monique songs (even the latest releases) in his program "Dreamers" on Frisky Radio.

Other great DJ and Producers have supported in their sets the music of Christian Monique, among them: Ruben De Ronde, Fernando Ferreyra, Gai Barone, Sima-Deep, Mariano Mellino, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Chicane, Thomas Datt and John Cosani.

He has been on the top 100 of the best releases in Progressive House music on "Beatport", the most famous electronic music online store, with: "Red Light", "Loneliness on Mars", "Balistica", "Wind of Passion ", "Tibet ", among others.

The first label with which Christian Monique worked was Gaia Sound, with which he released "Alone", his first album on sale.

He works with different record labels, among them: Black Hole Recordings, Massive Harmony Records, Refined Tunes, DAR Label and Lincor.

Personal Life

His passion for music was conveyed by his father and older brother. When Christian was 7 years old, his older brother bought two turntables "Technics" with a mixer, and since then he fell in love with music. He took profit of them, while his brother was at work.

To keep up with everything new in the music, he listened the radio and with the cassettes he recorded his favorite program, Labyrinth (hence the name of his first show that was broadcast on DNA Radio Fm).

The biggest influences of Christian Monique are Hernan Cattaneo, Marcelo Vasami, Nick Warren and Sasha for their unique and original styles.
